WALA - A Gift of Support

Recently, an artist working with us asked me a complicated question having to do with cover songs verses derivative works.  My role at that point was not as an expert on the topic but as a facilitator with our network of folks who are experts. So I called in reinforcements at Washington Area Lawyers Association (WALA) to help us find an answer.  

We are proud to be a partner organization with WALA, which is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization providing access to education, advocacy, and legal services through workshops and seminars, legal clinics, and pro bono legal referral services. Since we have been partnering with them the wonderful people involved with WALA have helped us on several fronts, from education to answering questions (legal and otherwise).
