2022 End of Year Projects

Imagine sharing the stage, as I did, with Neil Young and Rage Against the Machine. Well, to be completely honest, I shared the side of the stage with them. Working as a local crew stage hand in college, I experienced first-hand all of the behind the scenes activities and effort it takes to put on performances at large venues. The work and preparation involved was beyond what I would have imagined.

Speaking of behind the scenes…here are some of the projects that have been going on behind the scenes at Riverland Collective:

We have produced a compilation industry release, featuring work by artists and composers that we are thrilled to work with. Check out the playlist below, where you’ll hear:

Yasmin Williams – a phenomenal artist, fully deserving of the amazing press and accolades she has been receiving.

Florent Athenosy – an incredible musician and composer who brought together for us Americana flavors with a cinematic feel.

Dave Watkins – a fantastic musician, composer, and engineer, plus he makes his own dulcitars (combination of a dulcimer and guitar), which you will hear.

Cristian Perez – a remarkable talent with tremendous gifts as a musician and composer.

Adam McDonough – one of my favorite voices, with a terrific instrumental piece.

At the core of Riverland Collective is the idea that more can be done working together than individually and we are applying that approach beyond our own creative projects. To that end:

We are excited to share that we have joined forces with Eric Kaye and his team. Eric is the co-founder/partner of The Music Playground, an original music and artist licensing company, and The Diner, an original music library.

And, in our continuous efforts to build strong relationships with quality individuals, I’m looking forward to a call with a post-production executive at Amblin Entertainment (Stephen Spielberg’s production company) and am eager to share who we are and the music we represent.

Can it already be Thanksgiving? I hope that you have a wonderful Thanksgiving and know that if you are reading this and have any involvement with Riverland Collective, I am incredibly thankful for you.
